These high-end brands are reopening their stores in Amsterdam

Lucky us!

Great news for all Louis Vuitton lovers: the high-end brand unveils a newly designed store in Amsterdam. And, that’s not just any new building. Louis Vuitton is reopening the historic branch in Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat in Amsterdam. The property is a tribute to the expertise and Dutch heritage of the house. But that is not the only store that is reopening in Amsterdam, Tiffany & Co is also reopening its boutique in our capital.

Reopening store

If we go back to the 00’s, Louis Vuitton opened its first Dutch store in PC Hooftstraat. And although this location in itself is already very iconic for the high-end brand, it also marked the beginning of the brand’s relationship with the Netherlands. However, the store was such a great success that the line was continued into 2021, with the opening of a nearby temporary store.

And while it was still ‘temporary’ two years ago, the building has been rolled out into a permanent location after four years of renovation. The store reopens its doors, with a new facade that pays tribute to the architectural heritage of the building. The old building still contains its original anchors and, through its striking frames, invites visitors to take a look at the new space of the house.

Wide range

With such a historic reopening, something of course also comes with excellence. That is precisely why the store is offering the company’s full product range in the Netherlands for the first time. This range is spread over three floors, including ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, perfumes and accessories for women and men. But that’s not the only thing. The new store also sells exceptional items and limited editions and there is a selection of the Capucines, the iconic handbag of the Maison, in different leather types and colors.

In addition, the SS24 Precollection for men can also be seen in the new store. The exclusive outerwear of this collection is characterized by a deep shade of blue that is inspired by the ethereal colors of the Northern Lights. Redesigned varsity jackets with shearing details and a minimalist evening blouson with shiny mother-of-pearl studs are combined with seasonal essentials. The flamboyant orange LV sneaker, decorated with dozens of black studs, can be seen exclusively in the Louis Vuitton store in Amsterdam.

Reopening Tiffany & Co

In addition to Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co also recently reopened its building in the Bijenkorf Amsterdam. The brand is of course known for the timeless beauty of its refined jewelry, which results from superior craftsmanship.

Even more fun: both women and men can indulge in the brand’s beautiful creations at the Bijenkorf: from Tiffany & Co rings with diamonds to beautiful necklaces with pearls and bracelets with links. Definitely worth a visit!
