A cheerful outing was planned for the princess.
Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene, has had a very busy week. Last weekend was of course Monaco’s National Day, she showed her princely nose at a restaurant opening, she went to the Parc Princesse Antoinette with her offspring, and she made time to visit a local nursing home in between. for a special initiative.
Chatting with the princess
You talk a lot, Your Highness. Shake hands with the locals, have a cheerful chat with the youth, and smile friendly for anyone who wants to take a picture of you. Charlene also showed herself at her most social last week at all kinds of events.
There was a very special event on the agenda for the princess on Thursday in particular: she visited Cap Fleuri, a local care home in Monaco. Opened late last year by his husband, Prince Albert, it is an important step in caring for Monaco’s increasingly aging population.
Special visit
But Char didn’t go there alone – no! She was accompanied by the people and four-legged friends behind the Chien de Coeur (loosely translated: heart-dog) initiative. This organization is committed to giving the elderly a beautiful day with a bunch of fluffy companions. And as a bonus, the residents of the Résidence Cap Fleuri received an extra princess!

The snapshots show Charlene having a nice chat with the lively guys and ladies of a respectable age in the house. Moreover, the princess herself also seems to enjoy cuddling with the four-legged friends present.
Tone on tone
Once again, Charlene left her usual Akris outfits in the closet for this outing. Instead, the princess opts for a knitted wool sweater from Emilia Wickstead, which she combines with tone-on-tone camel-colored trousers and matching brown mules. Although the sun is still shining in the Monaco region and the temperatures are a bit more pleasant than here, SAS Charlene combined these matching items with a scarf with some blue accents.
But let’s face it: our favorite accessory? That’s that huge smile on Char’s face. And go ahead – the four-legged friend on her arm is also very cute.
