It doesn’t happen every week, but every now and then, if the occasion allows, the royals also wear denim while working. Moderator Petra listed a number of moments for you.
Máxima and Willem-Alexander
We kick off with, how could it be otherwise, Máxima! Who doesn’t remember the denim jacket from Queen’s Day 2004?
During the summer photo session in 2018, Queen Máxima wore a denim dress from the label & Co.
NL Doet is of course the perfect opportunity to wear jeans. Willem-Alexander with jeans, Máxima with jeans and a denim jacket.
Amalia
Have we ever seen Amalia in jeans? Sure, even if only a few times. When she was very little, some photos were released of Amalia wearing a denim jacket.
When Princess Amalia went to secondary school, Willem-Alexander took a photo of the departure at Villa Eikenhorst. There we saw Amalia dressed in jeans.
Alexia
Alexia has also been spotted wearing denim jackets. The first time on King’s Day 2016 in Zwolle. And yes, the second time she wore Máxima’s denim jacket (how nice!) during King’s Day in Groningen (2018).
On her first day of primary school, Princess Alexia wore a denim dress.

Victoria and family
Crown Princess Victoria also likes to wear denim clothing from time to time. What a loving picture, this photo of Victoria and Daniel in jeans with a blouse.
Victoria has taken many walks through Sweden in recent years. Announced walks that is. Photos were often released. Victoria regularly took walks in jeans, but during the walk in Ångermanland (2018) we see her in a denim shirt.

We won’t be seeing Queen Mathilde in jeans in public anytime soon. However, in 2021, a number of photos of Princess Elisabeth were released, showing her wearing jeans. A few days later, a few more photos appeared, where she wears flared jeans with white flowers (label: Sandro).
Letizia
We have seen Queen Letizia several times in a denim dress.
Letizia wore a denim dress again in Mozambique in 2019. This time with short sleeves.
Catherine
(Almost) always good: jeans with a blazer.
Meghan
