The top of the Dutch music world gathered last night at the AFAS Theater in Leusden for the award show of the year: the Edisons 2024. We will update you on the winners, and of course provide an overview of the most glamorous outfits of the evening.
The Dutch Grammys
The Edisons are also called the Dutch Grammys and are the most prestigious music awards in the Netherlands. Reason enough for artists to visit the AFAS Theater in Leusden yesterday. But in addition to winning an award, a shine moment on the red carpet is of course just as important. The celebrities therefore did everything they could to look beautiful, and they absolutely succeeded!
Davina Michelle appeared in a beautiful, silver-colored dress…
…Suzan embraced her inner Barbie (and of course Freek stood next to it as handsome as ever)…
…Roxy Dekker exchanged her usual Anne-Fleur outfit for a dazzling glitter dress…
…And both MEAU and S10 went for the school girl look.

The winners
There were a total of eleven Edisons to distribute. The biggest winners of the evening were Sef and Son Mieux. Sef received a bronze statue for his album I Could Die for Lot But Not for a Flag, and Son Mieux took home the prize for best single for the song Tonight.
The prize for best newcomer went to Roxy Dekker and FLEMMING (Pop) and Marco Schuitmaker (Hollands) also received a prize. Other Edisons went to Within Temptation (Rock), Pip Blom (Alternative), Reinier Zonneveld (Dance), MEAU (Dutch) and Mula B (Hip-hop). Idaly was the winner in the new Soul/R&B/Funk category. Last week Jan Smit received the Edison Oeuvre Prize. Congratulations everyone!
