The documentary provides an insight into the work the prince does.
We can prepare ourselves for another royal documentary! This time with Prince William in the lead role. This was announced by the British channel ITV. The documentary will focus on the Prince’s Homewards project.
Helping the homeless
British broadcaster ITV has been following Prince William for a new documentary. It focuses on the Homewars project, a long-term campaign to help the homeless. What exactly can you expect? A two-part portrait of the prince, called Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.
Homewards
Last June, Prince William launched Homewards. With his Royal Foundation, he supports various organisations and has new homes built. The upcoming documentary was made in the first year of the programme. In it, we will see William at the launch of Homewards in various locations in the United Kingdom. In addition, homeless people will also have their say.
Touching stories
In a press release, director Leo Burley says he heard “incredibly moving stories” during filming. “Everyone we filmed was thrilled with the attention Prince William and Homewards are bringing to the UK’s homelessness crisis,” he says. We can’t wait!
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little longer before we can take a look at Prince William’s work. The documentary Prince William: We Can End Homelessness won’t be shown until the fall. We’re already counting down the days!
