This is what Real Housewife Kimmylien eats in a week

The reality star kept track of what she ate for a week.

Kimmylien, from The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, always looks great. Beautiful locks, always dressed fashionably and a good figure. But in addition to healthy eating and exercise, there is also room for a snack or a drink here and there. For Grazia, the successful businesswoman kept track of what she eats in a week.

Monday

“I always start with coffee and supplements. I drink water the rest of the day. Thanks to my friend Tamara (Elbaz, ed.), I started intermittent fasting and don’t eat until twelve o’clock, not a minute earlier. Also on weekends. My weight has always been stable, but I hope to lose some weight. After I take my children to school, I drink my coffee in peace. Then half an hour on the treadmill at the gym. Once home, I talk to my team at my kitchen table about the week. When I had my nail salons, I had seventy girls working for me. Now two: my right hand Gyloniah and my manager Melissa. They are like family: I can’t live without them as a business woman with five kids. When I cook, I can think better and more creatively, so I make our lunch during the meeting: fried rice with thinly sliced Vietnamese spiced beef with garlic powder, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds. Served with coarsely chopped fried onion with lime juice, garlic and coriander. On a bed of leaf lettuce with thinly sliced tomato and cucumber. In the afternoon I have a sports appointment with Real Housewives Cherry-Ann, Maria and Tamara. Recover with tea, and then steak, salad and fries at restaurant Morgan & Mees.”

Tuesday

“As soon as the kids are at school, I go to my personal trainer. I really don’t like sports, but it makes me sleep better and it’s good for me. Back home I make a salad and soup with shrimp, squid, fish balls and snow mushrooms. No noodles, because I prefer not to eat too many carbohydrates. Just clean up the house, put new plants in the garden and then pick up the kids. A friend is coming over for dinner tonight. On the menu: rice table with white rice, shrimp in fish sauce, chicken with Korean bulgogi sauce, chicken thigh from the oven, stir-fried egg with tomatoes and spring onions. We toast with a gin and tonic and finish with tea.”

Wednesday

“My husband arranges everything with the kids, so that I can calmly prepare for a long day at work. During the handover with my team, I make my guilty pleasure: spicy Korean noodles with chicken, fried egg and onions. Then out the door to a DAY ONE event at Ron Gastrobar with a buffet. Enjoy oysters, gazpacho, Dutch shrimps, plus an alcohol- and sugar-free Aperol spritz. Then I went to a Surinamese event with Tamara, where I ate a lot of fruit, two satays and noodles. Everything with sambal, I love that. I always make a portion myself and even take a jar with me when I go out to eat. The recipe will also appear in my new cookbook full of dishes with a Kimmy twist, inspired by my Vietnamese roots. There is nothing more fun than seeing others enjoy my dishes.”

Thursday

“After a Vietnamese iced coffee, I work hard in the gym. Then I make a watercress salad with grilled eggplant, fish sauce and spring onions. I drink celery juice, made by my mother. She loved carrot juice for a while until her skin even turned orange! In the afternoon I can continue working on my cookbook. My husband is cooking tonight: roti with chicken, long beans and pancakes. With a glass of white wine.”

Friday

“After the daily kids’ school routine, it’s time for my team meeting. This time I make vegetable soup with our Hot Pot broth from my restaurant Miss Hot Pot. I add vegetables, beef balls, egg noodles for my team and pointed cabbage for myself. After a long day at work I make white asparagus Asian style, stir-fried with oyster sauce, sugar snap peas, onion and my mother’s fruity lime grass, brought from Vietnam. With a soft-boiled egg and skin-grilled salmon with teriyaki. An Aperol spritz for us.”

Saturday

“Wake up with an iced coffee. The weather is great, so we’re making it a chill day at our own pool. I make Vietnamese nasi for the whole family with yesterday’s rice, peas, carrots, fried egg and chicken drumsticks. I eat a few bites and have a bowl of chicken soup with cabbage and mushrooms. As a fresh snack, a fruit cocktail of lychee juice, mango, peach, melon, lychee and ice cubes. In the evening I make white pasta: penne with cream sauce and truffle tapenade. Arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, Italian balsamic vinegar and tomato carpaccio with homemade dressing. My husband has South American roots and makes picanha on the barbecue. Add an Aperol spritz, party! For dessert we go to the fair with the kids. On the terrace we order a chardonnay and a portion of bitterballen. The children take churros with nutella, I take one.”

Sunday

“After I make a ham sandwich for everyone, I make myself spicy Korean noodles with a salad. The kids go to my mother every Sunday. This afternoon I’m going to a lunch show by Maria (Tailor, ed.) at the Royal Mandarin. We are already sitting there at the Chinese rice table at half past five. I grab some nasi, noodles, kung pao chicken, pepper beef, scallop and lots of vegetables. First spa red with ice and lemon, then a glass of chardonnay. For dessert we go to Fellini’s: I don’t feel like eating anything sweet, so I opt for burrata with tuna.”
