“I’m so nervous!”, the Gooische mother reveals.
Our attention is still fully focused on Het Perfecte Plaatje on a trip to Thailand, but behind the scenes the edition that will take place on Dutch soil is also in full swing. As with most programs in which famous Dutch people participate, we can’t wait to hear who will be making an appearance in Het Perfecte Plaatje. A tip of the veil was already lifted today: none other than Echte Gooische Moeder Pauline will be there!
Big nerves
It is clear that Pauline is enthusiastic about this new challenge when she reveals the news in Echte Gooische Moeders. “I have some nice news. I am participating in The Perfect Picture,” she says in front of the camera. But the photography competition also brings with it some nerves. “I haven’t eaten for three days because I have a workshop today and I’m very nervous about it,” she admits. Fortunately, she has a very nice fellow candidate, namely presenter and animal expert Floris Göbel. Together they are busy with the preparations.
Crash course in photography
Because before the recordings start, all candidates of Het Perfecte Plaatje receive a weeks-long course to master the camera. All beginnings are difficult, as Pauline proves. The many photography terms are not yet familiar to her and it is not all plain sailing. “It doesn’t happen automatically for me yet,” she says to Floris.
Things seem to be going a little more smoothly at Floris. He quickly mastered the theory of photography. And that is useful for Pauline, because she doesn’t mind asking Floris for help. “I learned it on an old bicycle, but I finished it with Floris,” she jokes.

Practice makes perfect
After the workshop, Pauline immediately puts the theory she learned into practice. She takes her camera to the hockey field, where her children are playing. Here, the Gooische mother tries to take a picture of her children playing sports, but that turns out to be more difficult than expected due to the movement. “It’s really all Chinese to me. (…) I find it very challenging,” she says. That will take some practicing!
When the new season of Het Perfecte Plaatje will be shown, is not yet known. In any case, we can’t wait!
