Kaj Gorgels and his great love Jessie Jazz Vuijk became parents for the first time last October, to their son Xavier. In his podcast Geuze & Gorgels he says that he would love to have another child.
Kaj is very happy with Jessie
During a new episode of the podcast, Kaj tells his bestie and co-host Monica Geuze that he is very happy with Jessie. “In the end, I think that in Jess I have someone who suits me one hundred percent. Especially compared to what I used to fall for,” he says. Kaj explains that in the past, like many others, he mainly looked at external characteristics first. “Then there comes a next phase and then other things become important. Then you grow out of that puberty.”
Grown together
He thinks Jessie is a perfect fit for him because they have grown together. “I love that person,” he says. He also realizes that growing old with your great love is the highest attainable goal in life. “That is the first time since Xavier that I really see that in front of me. That I think: well, that is really a dream.”
Nice base
Kaj wants to do everything he can to make this possible. “We have a great foundation. We really have a family. It is the highest goal for me to ensure that that always remains good and that we all grow old together. I like that feeling.”
A sister for Xavier
And before that happens, he still has one big wish. “Ideally I would like to have another child.” He hopes Xavier will have a sister. “I would like another little girl,” he says with a smile.
Nine year old joke
Mo and Kaj have had a close friendship for ages. Not so long ago, old videos of them suddenly surfaced in which they were both childless and busy thinking of baby names. In the video, Kaj suggests using the name Xavier, to which Monica bursts out laughing. His reaction? “This is exactly what I was afraid of.” Kaj re-shared this hilarious footage from nine years ago on his TikTok and wrote: “When you see this nine-year-old footage again… And you just named your son Xavier. Thanks, friends.” He also quickly sent a message to Monica to reassure her and jokes that this footage will never be shown to his son.
