We really can’t wait anymore!
Although we are still very excited about the first part of Bridgerton season 3, we are already counting down the days until the second part comes online. Unfortunately, we still have to wait a little more than a week for it, but in the meantime we can fortunately enjoy the first images!
Record-breaking season
We’re clearly not the only fans of Bridgerton. The first part of the third season of the Netflix hit already achieved a record of 41 million (!) views in the first four days. In this season, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has finally given up her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) after hearing his disparaging words about her during the previous season. She has decided it is time to find a man, preferably one who will give her enough freedom to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, away from her mother and sisters. But due to her lack of self-confidence, Penelope’s attempts at the marriage market fail dramatically.

In the meantime, Colin has returned from his summer trip with a new look and a dose of self-confidence. But to his great sadness, he finds that Penelope, the one person who has always appreciated him, turns her back on him. Colin does everything he can to win back Penelope’s friendship and offers to help her gain confidence so she can find a husband this season. But when his lessons prove to be working a little too well, Colin begins to wonder if his feelings for Penelope are really just amicable.
For Penelope, the situation is complicated by her breakup with Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has found a new friend in an unexpected place. Meanwhile, Penelope’s increasing presence in high society makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret…
Second part
The first part of season 3 ended with a steamy scene between Penelope and Colin in the carriage. Friendship is now a thing of the past and their lives as lovers begin. We’ll see how the story continues in part two of Bridgerton. We still have to be patient for a few more days before we can binge the last four episodes on Netlfix, but the streaming service is treating us to the trailer today:

In it we see that Penelope and Colin’s engagement causes both joy and surprise in the barrel. And although nothing can go wrong now, there is still a big secret between them. Will Penelope confess to being Lady Whisledown? If it were up to her, not, but Eloise thinks differently. One thing is for sure: we can’t wait to watch the second part!
Bridgerton season 3 part 2 can be seen exclusively on Netflix from June 13.
