Sometimes you immediately see in the matches in Lang Leve De Liefde that it doesn’t work out. Manon (46) and Andrew (52) are a good example of this. 52-year-old Andrew certainly appears to be a well-groomed man. And he is certainly social. He meets women easily in his life, but arranging a date turns out to be not that simple. “I’ll find out: Oh, it’s taken. So what’s the point?” Well, nothing. He hopes to find a well-groomed, spontaneous, independent woman in LLDL, who communicates as easily as he does. She can also be fashion conscious, but with a casual touch.
He already helps her when he gives the presents: a fluffy sweater and matching, soft socks for home. Aww! Manon in turn gives Andrew chocolate and the board game Man, Don’t Annoy Yourself. She calls it a “sneaky hint” and you may understand why later.
Critical Manon
It all starts out fun when they play a game with her inflatable doll. No, it doesn’t appear to be anything sexual. *wink* They play the game ‘who’s the dude’ with the prize: sleeping in the bed with Manon. Ah! Unfortunately for Andrew, he turns out not to be very good. For example, he doesn’t understand that an ‘L’ on your forehead means ‘loser’. Fortunately, he is much better at portraying words. “I think you did a good job,” Manon says afterwards. “So you’ve earned your place in bed. If you wanted to, of course.”

Manon and Andrew appear to be good at teasing. We also see this in the evening during a game of Rummikub. Andrew is positive about it and says he has been a world champion. However, something that Manon does not completely believe: “Let’s see first.” She then places several stones one after the other. Andrew doesn’t seem completely able to cope with his loss or genuinely nice. He then says, “that he lets her win”. Hm-hm.

Manon and Andrew’s teasing makes it unclear whether something is actually going on. Although it turns out not to be the case the next day, because Manon does not want to renew. She doesn’t feel romantic click and sexual attraction. Luckily for him, she is somewhat positive about them afterward. She thought it was fun: “I laughed a lot with you, but that was it.” Andrew also does not want to renew. He feels no tension.
