Ex-girlfriend opens up about relationship with Guido from Winter full of Love
In Winter full of Love we currently follow 43-year-old Guido, who runs a camping site in Lapland. He really enjoys the adventurous life there in unspoilt nature. Only he misses a nice woman to share everything with. He previously had a wife, for which he even moved to Sweden. He was together with her for no less than twelve years. A long relationship, but she was certainly not the one. Especially not if it’s up to Guido’s ex. She opens a book about him to the weekly magazine Story and Guido seems to be different than we think. “He is narcissistic and destroyed me,” she says candidly about her ex. Oh dear!
Psychological abuse
Guido and his ex-girlfriend did have a deep relationship. Apparently they wanted to start a family. This makes the breakup painful for Guido, he says. Although his ex clearly thinks differently about this. She wanted to leave him much sooner. “It took me years to leave him,” she says. “I never had the courage for that.” Only afterwards does she realize what the relationship was really like for her. “Psychological abuse,” she calls it. According to the ex-girlfriend, Guido was mainly concerned with bringing her down for twelve years. They certainly had their good moments, but they were in the minority. “He’s charming, but I think all manipulative narcissists are,” she says.
Although the breakup was painful according to Guido, he quickly got over his heartbreak. Apparently the relationship had only been over for three months when Guido made a call for Winter full of Love. Could this perhaps be the reason that the love adventure is not yet going smoothly? At this moment, Guido is still in doubt about who is the better love candidate. The choice is currently between newcomer Andrea and Elsje, with whom he already has a good connection.

The reality program only lasts a week, so the choice has to be made quickly. However, Guido is not having an easy time in Winter full of Love. It doesn’t help that he had trouble sleeping again. The fatigue makes it harder for him to make rational decisions. Yet he will soon have to choose between Elsje and Andrea.
