Well, we understand this.
Royal kids may be raised with etiquette; They also have their tricks and are sometimes jealous of their brother or sister. This is evident from an interview with Shirley Ballas, who had the opportunity to meet Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte at the end of last year.
Behind the scenes
In December last year, Princess Kate, together with Charlotte and Louis, secretly visited the set of Strictly Come Dancing, the British version of the Dutch television program Dancing with the Stars. Shirley Ballas is the main judge on the program and met Catherine and the royal kids behind the scenes. In an interview with The Sun she tells what that was like. “It was an absolute blast,” said Shirley. “They are beautiful, polite children. They had a great day.”
Jealous
Shirley remembers a funny moment with Charlotte and Louis. “When they came to visit, we had some crowns on set,” she shares. “I thought it would be nice to give the little girl a crown and give Louis a box of sweets.” However, the little prince was not pleased with that. “’I want a crown too,’ he said, pointing to Charlotte’s crown. So of course we also started looking for a small crown for him.” Well, Louis doesn’t have to prove the fact that he is royal, but a crown like that is still nice – everyone understands that, nun?
Princess Kate
It was of course a dream come true for Charlotte and Louis to be exclusively on the set of Strictly Come Dancing, but Kate also beamed during the outing. “She was very relaxed and all smiles,” Shirley shares. “She was charming to everyone and kept Prince Louis from getting too excited.” The latter will not have been easy, we suspect.
