Just before her well-deserved vacation begins.
Our Queen Máxima personally brought some sunbeams to Brabant this morning. There, the Queen visited the village of Zevenbergschen Hoek, and she spoke to the residents. For this visit, Máx dressed in a beautiful, brand new outfit.
Summer vacation
Summer vacation is just around the corner, and that also means that our king and queen will have to put their work on the back burner. Because our royals also deserve to relax with their feet up after an eventful work season, right? However, that won’t happen before the last tasks on the list are completed this week, of course.
Máxima ends the working season in style with a visit to the Brabant village of Zevenbergschen Hoek. We know better than anyone that a perfectly coordinated combination of colours is spent on our queen.
Today, Máxima wore a simple, yet elegant powder pink top with beige trousers. Thanks to the tight-fitting top and wide-fitting trousers, the outfit is beautifully balanced. We have not seen either garment on the queen before. It does not stop at just a new outfit, because the beautiful large necklace with matching earrings is also unknown to us. A beautiful debut at the last minute, for this new outfit and jewellery set.
Seven Mountain Corner
In the morning, Máxima arrived by car in the Brabant village. There she was warmly welcomed, both by the residents and by the lovely summer sun. She started her visit at the local shop, where real products from the region are sold. The village is learning about the consequences of the ageing population: many young people are leaving due to a lack of facilities, and the demand for care is increasing.
In the spirit of this theme, Máx visited a residential care centre and spoke to a number of elderly residents. And what activity is indispensable in a residential care centre? Exactly, bingo! The queen took a seat at the thrilling game of chance and was given the great responsibility of checking the bingos. Máxima continued her way through the village and visited, among other things, the playground, where young and old meet, and the vegetable garden of a 98-year-old resident. A wonderful end to the working season if you ask us!
