That smells like trouble! Here we go again: In the 15th season of The Biggest Loser, a total of 23 candidates are declaring war on the kilos. They all hope for one of the coveted places in the infamous weight loss camp – and for the prospect of a healthier life. But right at the beginning there are disagreements between two of the participants: Nadine doubts the intentions of her colleague Martin!
The blonde makes serious allegations against the fuzzy head: Martin is said to have asked her whether the two wanted to stage an argument for the TV cameras. “There is one candidate in the group where it quickly became clear that he was only there for the show and not to lose weight,” complains Nadine. Martin defends himself against the allegations and clarifies: “That was pure sarcasm and really shouldn’t be taken seriously.” And although the pound-for-pound guy even makes it into Christine Theiss’s (43) team, Nadine remains skeptical: “I remain of the opinion that his role here is not real, but I just hope that he shows us that […] he takes advantage of the opportunity.”
But how do the viewers assess Martin’s intentions? “I wouldn’t have chosen Martin for my team. He’s a self-promoter and seeks attention,” says one fan, critical of X. “Martin is extremely unsympathetic,” says another.
