David Beckham (48) lends a hand himself! The Brit is one of the most successful footballers in the world. However, he gave up his career on the field in 2013 after around 20 years. The kicker didn’t put his feet up after that, on the contrary: since 2014 he has been co-owner of the football clubs Inter Miami and Salford City, has several advertising partners and is committed to charitable causes. But despite his busy schedule, he takes time David always has time for his family – and also helps out with household chores!
The 48-year-old gives a little insight behind the scenes of his family life via Instagram. He was invited to dinner with his mother Sandra with his wife Victoria (49) and his kids Cruz (18) and Harper (12). Then helped David – quite the good son – still cleaning up. “Lunch with mom and then washing up with a few laughs. Love you, mom,” he reports, teasing his sister Joanne: “[Sie] hasn’t washed off, shocking. Your fries were fine.”
For food there was fried eggs, fries and sausages. If David brought the eggs yourself? After all, Victoria had given him some chickens, including a house and an enclosure, for Christmas! As seen in a funny Instagram clip from the 49-year-old, her husband was very happy about his new feathered friends.
