Claes Iversen’s new collection is an ode to color. In this blog you can see the highlights.
The show started with fashionable paint splatters. The new collection was born when Claes Iversen noticed that there was a high demand for colored variants of his wedding dresses. By decorating trouser suits, blouses and dresses with embroidered paint splashes, it was immediately clear: this fashion show was going to be a color spectacle. And that was it. Because Máxima likes a fashion joke, I would love it if she wore an outfit with paint splatters.
Volume
That Claes Iversen loves special proportions and volume became clear when Máxima wore a red evening dress with XXL sleeves during the French state visit. The new collection once again features volume. Sometimes around the shoulders, sometimes in the shape of a puffed glove. Maybe in a measured form or color, but I would like to see the puffed glove at Máxima.
On a leash
Belts in the same fabric or a contrasting color also played a leading role. Máxima can easily wear that green dress, right?
Trouser suits
If you want to fit in in the fashion world, you have at least 1 trouser suit in your closet. During Claes Iversen’s show they came in all kinds of colors and materials.
Tie it up
Because Máxima loves big gestures, she will also appreciate the XXL bows. The light blue dress is high on my wish list.
Embroidery
When she wants to relax, Máxima sometimes picks up a needle and thread. I suspect she appreciates Iversen’s shiny embroidery.
