Mice in the house

Want to get rid of those small (or sometimes large) rodents in your house? That’s not that easy. Mice can crawl into any little hole or crack, making it seem like you don’t stand a chance at chasing these creatures away. Even mousetraps sometimes backfire.

You can of course have a pest controller come to get rid of everything, but that also costs a lot of money. A smarter (and cheaper) tool is just as useful in such a case. We’ll explain it to you.

Smart trick

Tea-lover or not, it’s time to stock up on tea bags! Mice really can’t handle the smell of tea. You can use your tea bag after you’ve had a nice cup, or you can use it specifically as a pesticide and just use it. But which tea should we go for? Well, that doesn’t really matter, although those animals are very disgusted by mint tea. Just saying…For mint lovers this is of course a real solution: chasing away mice with mint (tea). Whether it’s tea bags or sprigs of mint, mice can’t handle it.

This is how you work

How to perform the tea bag trick is actually as simple as it sounds. You collect a lot of tea bags, preferably as scented as possible. You then put this in a container so that the tea scents can brew nicely. Then place the container in a place where you think the mice come from, and voilà. Within a short time there will no longer be a mouse to be seen. They prefer to look for a house without smelly tea.
