This is how you choose the ideal jeans for your figure

Choosing the right model is essential!

Who doesn’t like a casual outfit with nice jeans every now and then? At least we do! Because in our opinion, good jeans can really give your figure a boost. It is important that you choose a model that suits your figure to accentuate your plus points as much as possible.

1. Peer figure

Are your hips a lot wider compared to your waist and are you also narrow at the top? Then you probably have a pear figure. Beautiful, but not always easy when you are looking for the perfect jeans. To accentuate the assets of your body, it is best to go for flared or palazzo pants. Tight jeans actually draw attention to your wider hips. Also pay attention to the back pockets of jeans. Smaller pockets often make the buttocks look a lot bigger than you might want.

2. Apple figure

If you are one of the women with an apple figure, you have narrow hips and legs, but a rounder stomach shape. If you prefer to camouflage the latter feature, then high-waisted jeans are your best friend. Jeans with a high waist show off your slim legs and accentuate your waist. Win win!

3. Long legs

Are you blessed with a pair of stilts à la Kate Middleton? Lucky you! Actually, you can wear any pair of jeans with those long legs, but jeans with straight legs really bring out your pride. In addition, don’t you want to draw attention to the length of your legs (which we can’t imagine, but whatever)? Then avoid pants with a high waist. These often make your legs look even longer.

4. Narrow hips

Are you naturally built a bit petite and, to your great regret, do you not have Jennifer Lopez’s hips? Then it is best to go for looser-fitting jeans. The lower the pants fall on your narrower hips, the more body get your hips. Avoid high-waisted trousers, as they will give you an even straighter figure than you may already have. Complete your look with a wide, striking belt for the Shakira look.

5. Short torso

Even for people with a shorter torso, it is not always easy to find the perfect jeans. To create more proportion, just like with narrow hips, it is best to go for jeans that fall lower on the hips. This makes your upper body appear optically longer and your shorter upper body is more in proportion to the hips and legs. Simple as that!
