Tom Hanks (67) and Rita Wilson (67) are proud parents. The Hollywood couple has been happily married since 1988. Together they have two sons, Truman (28) and Chet (33). Even though the two love to appear together at events, their boys are rarely there. They last brought their offspring with them to the premiere of “A Man Called Otto” in 2022. Visit now Tom and Rita once again a premiere and, exceptionally, they are also bringing their sons with them.
The new series “Masters of the Air” premiered on Wednesday. Tom was also on the red carpet as a producer. He had his wife with him Rita and at her side, Truman and Chet beamed. The film stars seem to have passed on the elegance: While Chet wore a simple black jacket, his brother shone in a dark green velvet suit. “It’s really fun! It’s great,” gushed Rita told Entertainment Tonight about the family trip.
Your boys have it Rita and Tom but not always easy. Chet, who is now 33 years old, had particularly worried them as a teenager because he was already struggling with drugs back then. His parents then took a slightly different measure and sent him to a rehab camp. “They made us hike in circles with a 36-pound backpack. A lot goes through your head,” the rapper recalled on Ivan Paycheck’s podcast.
