The piano
We are talking about the program The Piano. Under the leadership of Chantal Janzen, we are looking for passionate amateur pianists who like to get behind the keys. Without even realizing it, they audition and have a chance to win a unique performance.
During the program, well-known musical experts watch behind the scenes as the musicians sit behind the piano in a station hall and share their talent with passers-by. All genres are welcome and singing is allowed, but not mandatory. Unknowingly, the piano talents have a chance of a special performance in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Wow!
Great success
In England, where the format originated, the program is already a huge hit. The first season was won there by the blind Lucy Illingworth. The British jury included singer Mika and the famous Chinese pianist Lang Lang. Unfortunately, it is not yet known who the Dutch jury members are.
What is already known is when the first episode will appear on television. And that’s almost! From Wednesday April 3, De Piano can be seen every week at 8:30 PM on RTL4.

There will be many more (new) programs on RTL in April. From April 2, Daar Gaan Ze Weer can be seen on RTL4; a brand new reality series in which we follow well-known participants of successful and often much-discussed TV programs in their foreign adventure across Europe. The exciting final of Big Brother can be seen on RTL5 on April 13. And finally, we are preparing for the second season of The Gherkin King. A brand new season of the reality series about the striking Oos Kesbeke, the king of the pickles. From April 18 on RTL5.
