It’s probably happened to you before: you forget that paper tissue in your pocket, and all your clothes are full of lint. We have the solution.
Aspirin against fluff
Apirin? Yes, you heard that right: aspirin is not only good for headaches, but also works wonders for your laundry. Add aspirin to the hand wash or washing machine and the lint will be completely gone in no time. Do you have any fluff yet? You can wash your garment by hand, dissolve the paracetamol in hot water and soak the garment in the mixture, but you can also put four aspirins in the washing machine and run a normal wash.
Dryer
Aspirin is not the only way to make the fluff disappear like snow in the sun. Give your clothes a good pat and then put them in the dryer. Make sure you remove all other paper from the pockets. Many threshers have an option for collecting lint, the lint collector. But be careful: it is not recommended to put jeans in the dryer in this setting. Only try this if the paracetamol hack has not worked.
Lint roller
A lint roller works wonders for collecting lint. You probably already know how it works: you roll the lint roller over the fabric of the garment, causing all the lint to stick to the roller. This helps remove the excess lint, but also helps with even the smallest particles. You will soon see a difference, and this may therefore be the fastest option.
Razor blade
Are they not pieces of paper, but do you have those strange dots on your sweater? Then a razor blade works very well to remove it. Be careful, because if you use the razor recklessly, you run the risk of making holes in your clothing or cutting yourself open. Also make sure that the clothing is on a smooth surface and pull the fabric taut.
Fluff thief
Do you think using blades is too risky? Then a lint thief works just as well. This device is battery powered and easy to hold in your hand. You can easily use it over your clothes. There is a kind of mesh around it that ensures that the blades do not come directly on the fabric. Here too, you have to make sure that the garment is on a flat surface, but using a lint remover makes it easier than a razor blade to remove the lint.
