On the occasion of the birth of Princess Amalia, Máxima received a gold necklace with diamond and citrine in December 2003. Last week the jewel was allowed to serve again after sixteen years (!) of vacation.
The necklace first appeared during the photo shoot shortly after the birth of Princess Amalia.
A close-up, so you know what we’re talking about:
In February 2005, when Máxima was pregnant for the second time, the necklace reappeared.
In 2006 the jewel served twice. Once in Mongolia (see photo) and once during the presentation of the Erasmus Prize.
The jewel surfaced once in 2007, in New York (January).
In 2008, the birth gift turned out to go well with a brown suit from Natan.
Afterwards he disappeared from view for no less than sixteen years. And then suddenly, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, he appeared again around Máxima’s neck. Would she have cleaned out her safe in addition to her wardrobe?
