There is no luck for Marieke Elsinga (37). Exactly on Valentine’s Day, the popular TV presenter and Qmusic DJ says that she is again expecting a second child. Hurrah! Of course she announces the nice baby news in the safest place, namely her own morning show with Mattie Valk.
Marieke Elsinga pregnant for the second time
For a long time, 37-year-old Marieke Elsinga went through life as a single lady, but then she met her current boyfriend Sander through a dating app. She has been very happy with it for a long time now and even lives with her. She now has the ‘house, tree, animal’. Literally, because on November 9, 2022, the TV presenter and Qmusic DJ will give birth to their first child: Jip. The family currently consists of ‘mom’ Marieke, ‘dad’ Sander, cat Kiki and son Jip. Although apparently a new family member will soon be added, the presenter says in her morning show on Qmusic. She reveals to co-host Mattie Valk that she is pregnant for the second time. Aww!
Sister for Jip
The announcement of her second pregnancy is made in a way that only Marieke can do. She starts talking about the fact that son Jip is learning more and more words. “He can speak a word now. I managed to record it,” she says. Then we hear Jip say the word ‘bebbie’. Or rather: baby. “Guys, Marieke Elsinga is pregnant again!” colleague Mattie concludes enthusiastically. Of course, son Jip, who is currently 1 year old, understands little of this. Although he understands that there is something in his mother’s belly. “He also gives my stomach a kiss every now and then,” says Marieke. Cute!
Immediately with the announcement, Marieke also tells us that it will be a girl. Marieke and Sander’s second child is expected to arrive in August this year. Marieke says they are “very happy” with the baby news. However, she had had a number of “lousy weeks”. “Hopefully those weeks are behind me,” says Marieke. “Yesterday I had a good day, but I had the same last time and then I was in pain the next day.” Oh well, it’s all worth it.
