In the last weeks of the year, Maxima still seems to have the royal agenda very full. Earlier this week, the queen received a high visit from South Korea, but last night she herself was the guest. Her Majesty was expected at the recording of the Christmas Music Gala, and made an appearance in a glamorous look.
More Music in the Classroom
It is a fixed item in the Máxima’s annual agenda: the Christmas Music Gala in Bussum, where children and young people perform together with well-known artists. The queen is annually present at the recordings in her role as honorary chairman of the More Music in the Classroom Foundation: an organization that is committed to more music education for all primary school children in the Netherlands.

Well, making an appearance at the Christmas Music Gala is of course particularly good for Máx in light of her role as honorary chairman of the foundation, but let’s be honest: it is also just a good excuse to put on a Christmas outfit. The queen herself must have thought so too, because at the supreme moment she stepped out of the car in a beautiful, ice blue ensemble. The experts at Royal Fashion Police tell us that it concerns a new blouse and skirt from Máx’s favorite fashion brand Natan. For the occasion, the queen also purchased a new pair of ice blue Gianvito Rossi’s. With such a specific color outfit this is inevitable, of course.
We in the editors agree: Máx’s look must be inspired either by Cinderella or by Elsa from Frozen. That makes us curious: does the queen secretly watch a Disney film in her spare time? In any case, it seems that HM can take it a bit easier for the next two weeks. In recent years, the Christmas Music Gala was her last public outing of the year. Soon all the A’s will return home, so it could be that the royal planning for Máxima will remain empty until the new year.
