The fashion world is extremely dynamic: trends come and go, and every season there are new items that go into (or out of) fashion. Super fun of course, but sometimes a little consistency is nice too. Fortunately, there are two colors that are guaranteed to never go out of fashion: black and white.
Fashion week
During the presentations of the spring/summer 2024 fashion collections, many new trends were presented, but there was one striking trend that dominated almost all catwalks: the monochrome black and white look. These two colors prevailed at the Chanel, Dior and Prada shows.
As we have come to expect in the dynamic fashion world, it didn’t take long for this trend to be adopted by the wider public. During both the spring/summer and autumn/winter Fashion Weeks of 2024, the streets of London, Paris and Copenhagen, among others, were largely colored black and white. Some guests opted for a purely monochrome outfit with just black or white, while others combined both colors together. One thing is certain, we are fans of the black and white look. Especially because it is of course completely trend-proof! Black or white items return every year, and they are also incredibly versatile. It is therefore always useful to invest in a number of basic black and white items, which you can combine with your existing wardrobe every season.
