Tamara Elbaz, known from The Real Housewives of Amsterdam, surprised her followers on Instagram with a vulnerable revelation. She shared her shocking experience of unexpectedly ending up in the hospital’s oncology department.
Abnormalities in chest
In the photo Tamara shared, a bandage can be seen on her left breast. “‘We’re going to take some tissue to check.’ Before I knew it, I was in the oncology department last week,” she captioned the photo. The reality star explains that abnormalities were noted during a preventive ultrasound of her breasts, which led to this sudden hospitalization.
“What if I died?”
“I have truly had the longest week ever,” she continues. “All I could think about was Alexander. Alexander might have had a sick mother. And I also had to think several times about what if I died.” She honestly shares her fears and concerns about the possible outcome of the tests.
Good news for Tamara
Fortunately, the results ultimately yielded good news. “However, this morning I received the best news ever… nothing malicious was found,” she shares with relief.
Check your breasts regularly
Tamara wants to emphasize to her followers that it is important to have your breasts checked regularly. The test results could easily have been different… “OMG have your breasts checked regularly. Because it could suddenly be too late 💖🙏🏼.”
