In the final episode of the reality show, Mai Whelan – known as Player 287 on the reality show – triumphed over her opponents. In an interview with The Times, however, she now reports that the promised prize money has not yet arrived. “I feel like Tom Cruise in ‘Jerry Maguire’. Give me the money!” she emphasized at the “Squid Game: The Challenge” watch party in New York City.
But Mai has already treated herself to a few new things! In the interview, she reveals that she bought new designer clothes for the event: In addition to pumps from the Jimmy Choo label and a dress from Ralph Lauren, the 55-year-old also invested in a new haircut.
