We now know that the royal apple does not fall far from the tree. Yet every now and then we are amazed by the enormous similarities between various royal ladies and their ancestors. A good example of this is Princess Charlotte, who, according to fans of the Windsors, looks exactly like her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth, in her early years. This has proven once again in recent weeks!
Tradition
The British royals are busy with all the traditions they maintain. Their Christmas celebration also includes the regular walk to the church on the Sandringham estate, where they are waved along the way and have bouquets pressed into the arms of endless crowds of fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the monarch and his descendants.
While many royalty watchers were amazed by the sudden appearance of Sarah Ferguson as part of the royal party, many others were particularly impressed by Princess Charlotte.

For example, a sweet moment between Charlotte and her older niece, Mia Tindall, goes viral. When Mia doubts whether she can accept a bouquet from the crowd (which are actually intended for her slightly more famous niece), Charlotte quickly makes the decision. For example, in a now viral TikTok video you can see how she encourages Mia to grab the flowers.

It was also noticeable that the Windsor genes are clearly reflected in Charlotte’s face. This is how Hello! Magazine that the sweet photos of the princess among her family showed many similarities with a young Elizabeth.
Glamial therefore delved into the archives, where we discovered this snapshot of the wedding of Prince George and Princess Marina from 1934. And who is one of the bridesmaids? That’s right, eight-year-old Elizabeth!

Moreover, it is not the first time that Princess Charlotte appears to look very much like her ancestors. William and Kate would also have been amazed at how much their daughter resembles their father.
For example, in 2020 a lady from Bradford was allowed to hand out cakes to the royals, which she had decorated with photos of various members of the Windsor family – including this snapshot of Prince William from 1988. A completely stunned Kate responded with: “That seems so much on Charlotte!” William himself apparently couldn’t believe it either, and asked several times if it was really a photo of him and if he was not being fooled.
We understand the confusion – and we can’t wait to see who Charlotte will eventually look like when she grows up!
