In enchanting Sweden, Bram, known from B&B Vol Liefde, has found peace after a youth full of turbulence. In his brand new autobiography A Wild Life, he reveals for the first time the challenging and unsafe period from his past.
Grows up quickly
Bram’s childhood was characterized by traumatic experiences. “My mother struggled with borderline, and my father was absent,” he shared with the weekly magazine Privé. Without parental guidance, he had to find his own way. “I was forced to grow up quickly, forge my own path and cut all ties with her.”
Aversion to women
At the age of nineteen, Bram took the step towards independence and experienced real freedom for the first time. “I lived without inhibitions, did everything that God had forbidden.” He plunged into a world of drugs and alcohol, flitting from one short-term relationship to another. He attributed this behavior to his difficult childhood, during which he almost developed an aversion to women.
Peace, space, freedom and B&B Full of Love
When Bram left the Netherlands to travel with a friend, they eventually ended up in fairytale Sweden. There he finally found the peace and space he longed for. “In the midst of the silence, I learned to listen to myself. I cherish the vastness and natural beauty.” And now he shares this wonderful experience with his girlfriend Esra. “I am very happy with Esra and we complement each other perfectly,” says Bram, who is still madly in love with Estra. Cute.
Future plans
The two have known each other for a year and already have big plans for the future. “We are even thinking about starting a family, but we want to enjoy it together first. The B&B is going well and especially after the broadcasts I have become busy with guests. It is nice to see friends in my former hometown of Hardenberg every now and then.” , but I never want to live in the Netherlands again.”
