Due to the rescheduled state visit to Vietnam, Máxima suddenly had some holes in her agenda this week. This afternoon she visited KiKiD’s Talk To Me performance unannounced.
The KiKiD Foundation produces educational theater performances, training courses and online teaching materials for primary and secondary schools on social-emotional themes such as mental health, sexuality, (cyber)bullying and social media, drinking and drug use and money and debts. Resilience, a positive self-image and respect for yourself and others are the common thread in their programs. During the performance Talk To Me, short scenes are played about, for example, performance pressure, gloomy thoughts and loneliness. After a scene, the actors, who are also youth workers, talk to the students in small groups. The performance is largely based on the youth workers’ own experiences.
Fashion
Before the performance, the queen had a well-known Natan set taken from her closet. This is an orange-gray top with a belt at the bottom plus gray trousers with an ironed fold.
