Every week we enjoy watching Buying Without Looking. We see how Martijn Krabbé, Alex van Keulen, Bob Sikkes and Roos Reedijk make people happy with a house. Together they make a good team, but maybe not for much longer. Real estate agent Alex is considering quitting the program and taking another big step in his life.

If we look at Buying Without Looking, the program is not complete without real estate agent Alex van Keulen. He always knows how to choose a beautiful house for the participants. In an interview with De Telegraaf he says that he also has other plans for the future. He is looking for a permanent home in Spain. Yes, who wouldn’t want that, so we agree with Alex. He wants to leave that direction with his wife and mother-in-law as soon as his son has left home. “I can imagine walking on a pleasant boulevard every day, it’s wonderful,” says Alex. What does he want to do in Spain? “I would really enjoy giving tours in Spain. Going out with a group of Dutch tourists in Valencia and showing them a surprising side of the city.” Well, we’re signing up for this one!
Say goodbye
Alex knows exactly what he wants and he is already preparing to say goodbye to the production company of Buy Without Watching. He has even told the production company that they need to look for ‘a young God’ to replace him by then. “Someone who looks good, haha. That is also more pleasant for the viewers. I’m already approaching sixty.”
Satisfying
Even though Alex has indicated that he wants to retire in due course, the team does not want to say goodbye to him. “I am very grateful to Martijn Krabbé and everyone who works behind the scenes in the program.”
