The promising trailer was unveiled today!
Ye-hesss: Katja Schuurman is back after never being away. The actress can soon be seen on the big screen in the wonderful romantic comedy The Men Maker, and the trailer has just been published. We can reveal: that bodes very well.
The Man Maker
With the promising tagline ‘Boys are born, men are made’, distributor Independent Films today launched the trailer for the upcoming romcom The Men’s Maker.
Katja Schuurman plays the role of Anne, a lady who does not do ‘relationships’, but ‘projects’. Every six months she hooks a new hopeless loser and transforms him into a popular guy who is dripping with charisma. Mission accomplished? Then it’s time for the next project, and Anne puts an end to her relationship.
And that goes well for her! Or at least – until, to her horror, she starts to feel butterflies about her latest project, a role played by Leo Alkemade. Is he finally the one who will mean more to Anne than just another new project?
Trailer
Filming on the film started last September, and today a fantastic trailer for the upcoming film has been revealed! Here we see how Anne and her new lover get to know each other and she teaches him the tricks of flirting. A lot of love, a good dose of humor, and some steamy scenes – that bodes well!
In addition to Katja Schuurman and Leo Alkemade, Eva van de Wijdeven and Georgina Verbaan also play a role. The direction is also in the hands of Jamel Aattache, who we of course also know from films such as De Tatta’s, Scotoe, and I knew it. The story is also based on the book of the same name by Petra Kruijt, who has been making waves for years as a writer of wonderful feel-good love stories. Michiel Peereboom and René Molenaar have transformed the plot into a film scenario.
If you immediately prepare the popcorn with great enthusiasm, you will unfortunately still have to be patient. The film will only be shown in cinemas from October 17, 2024. In any case, we can’t wait!
