Sylvie Meis is now very happy in love again with her new flame Wim Beelen. She recently proudly introduced him to the outside world. But now, a month later, Wim is finally making himself heard.

According to Wim, he and Sylvie are ‘equal’. “Just like me, she has really built her own business,” says the multimillionaire in the Financieele Dagblad. He responds in the newspaper to the stories that the presenter only likes rich men. According to Wim, none of that is true. The two met on a terrace last summer. “She didn’t even know who I was,” he shares. “I kept thinking about it in the days that followed. I’m single… She’s single… Gosh…”
Getting to know eachother
After that first meeting, Wim and Sylvie met again and not much later the tabloids got wind of their dating life. The businessman, with an estimated fortune of 155 million euros according to Quote, calls this ‘unpleasant’. “Ideally you want to get to know each other in peace. But the publicity forces you to accelerate,” he explains. “You suddenly have to explain to everyone that you are dating. Also to your children, to your ex-wife. And everyone likes it.”
My love
Not so long ago, Sylvie spoke to the German newspaper Der Wester about her love life. There she said that it is also more difficult for her to date. “You never know whether people will react differently, because they may not dare at first,” says Sylvie. “When you’re flirting with someone and it’s so obvious that they know who you are, you often wonder if that’s the only reason they’re interested,” she said.
Despite the fact that their love life is under a magnifying glass, Wim and Sylvie have weathered those first bumps with flying colors and are currently very happy together. Last month the presenter confirmed their relationship. “My love ❤️,” she wrote on Instagram. She also shared a beautiful photo of her and Wim. We wish the two much happiness together!
