For the second day of the visit to the state of Georgia, Máxima put a white Dior in her suitcase.
After a flight from Atlanta to Savannah, the king and queen were received by Mayor Van Johnson in City Hall. After a short meeting, an explanation from SCAD (Savannah College of Arts and Design) was on the program. Subject: the challenges and opportunities to revitalize the city center.
At the end of the morning, Willem-Alexander and Máxima will visit the first public HBCU (Historical Black Colleges and Universities) university in Georgia. On the university grounds, they first watch some student presentations in the Marine Science Center. They then enter into dialogue with students and black entrepreneurs about entrepreneurship and international ambitions. Parallel to the visit, an AI conference will take place with Dutch and American universities. The visit to the university ends with a cultural performance.
Afternoon
In the afternoon, the royal couple will visit the Port of Savannah, the fastest growing and fourth busiest container port in the United States. After a tour of the terminal, they will attend a final business session on sustainable port development and hinterland and connectivity.

For the third day of the trade mission, Máxima took a deep dive into her walk-in closet. There she found a white dress from Dior, which has large pockets on the peplum.
Máxima previously wore the creation during the state visit to Italy in 2017.
