Who doesn’t know them, Peter Gillis’s famous holiday parks? Last week the news came out that Peter has decided to sell a lot of those parks, which also means that Mark and Ruud have to say goodbye to Prinsenmeer Park.
Emigrate
If you are a fan of Peter’s parks, there is no reason to panic. There will be a new owner who will take over the parks, so that Prinsenmeer and all other parks in the Netherlands remain open. Peter will soon go to Belgium with his children to run his three other parks there.
Parting
Saying goodbye to the Prinsenmeer staff was difficult for Peter. Yet Petertje will have to say goodbye to no fewer than 8 other parks in the coming period? This will be a busy time for the Gillisjes!
House hunting with the Gillis family
And did you know that Peter is planning a real house surprise campaign? While Peter chills in his mega-villa until his new home is completely ready, his kids go looking for their own place. House prices in Belgium are much lower than in the Netherlands, so that means: more value for money. Mark has been given the task of shopping for houses and he has happily involved Ruud. While Mark is looking at a spacious villa with all the trimmings, from a swimming pool to a sauna. His brother Ruud has to make do with a cozy terraced house… Well, that’s how it goes with the Gillis family!
