Máxima is increasingly becoming the queen of art and culture. This morning she was in Arnhem to put the subject on the map.
At VMBO school ‘t Venster, the queen visited a fashion workshop, which focused on designing, making and presenting clothing. During the technology workshop, an old van was converted into a food truck. Students prepared a meal in the kitchen, which was served in the school restaurant to elderly people from a nearby care institution. Queen Máxima also viewed several dance and music workshops. She spoke to students about the creative offerings in the afternoons after school, where they can discover their talents, meet each other and make friendships.
This was followed by a round table discussion about the enriched school day at ‘t Venster. Coalition partners who contribute talked about their role and vision on More Art and Culture in Schools and the Environment and offering equal opportunities.
Fashion
Máxima chose a business look for the cultural outing. Her blouse with attached scarf comes from fashion house Natan, as do her dark blue trousers (with a visible closure at the center front).

The visible closure I was referring to above:

The blouse was previously combined with sand-colored trousers.

Máxima’s earrings are new. The design consists of a mix of beads, which are held together by iron wire. The designer is still being sought.
