Corinna Schumacher (54) does her best for Michael (54). Ten years ago, the former racing driver had an accident while skiing. He then apparently spent a long time in an artificial coma – since then not many details have been known about the father of two’s health. The Formula 1 star is being treated in Switzerland with his family. And there Michael is met by his wife Corinna protected from the public.
His former Ferrari colleague Luca Badoer told The Sun: “Only a few people are allowed to visit him. Corinna decides who can see him!” The reason for this is not that the world star doesn’t want to see anyone – it’s all for his protection. “The family wants to maintain a certain level of secrecy and I respect their wishes. They are doing all this for the benefit of Michael,” Luca assures.
The situation is not easy for Michael’s family. In the documentary “Schumacher” his wife already explained: “It’s very clear that I miss Michael every day, and not just me, the children, the family, his father, everyone who is around him!”
