We had to wait six months for it, but cheese fondue phenomenon Smelt is back! Because let’s face it: what could be better than getting through the dark days with a variety of cheese?

In the coming period, Smelt will serve visitors to the Westergas Cultural Village with a delicious selection of cheeses. From a Swiss fondue consisting of mountain cheeses to a traditional Dutch fondue full of home-grown flavours. New this year is the Italian fondue made from Provolone Piccante, Parmigiano Reggiano, Fontina and Taleggio. That sounds special, right? All fondues are served with crispy sourdough bread from Fort Negen and fresh steamed seasonal vegetables. So you don’t want to miss this! Starting tomorrow, discovery+ will air the first episode of the three-part spin-off series Eating with my Enemy: Going Dutch. In this episode the feud between Michella Kox and Lisa Sace is central, and Boer Geert and Boer Geert Jan from Boerzoekt Vrouw do their best to resolve a long-standing argument.
Of course, the Dutch feature film First Aid at Christmas premiered this week, and you can enjoy it right now via Videoland.
And finally: at Pathé Thuis you can now enjoy a unique evening full of music. This week, a live recording of the musical The Prince of Egypt: Live from the West End appeared on the platform.
