“So strange to see my room empty again.”
At the beginning of this year, Countess Eloise announced, to everyone’s great surprise, that she would be staying in New York City for six months this year. And now the moment of flying out is getting closer! She shares an update on the latest preparations via Instagram.

Earlier this year, she revealed in conversation with LINDA.meiden: “I don’t want to make a big deal of it, but yes, I do have the feeling that there are a lot of eyes on me.” According to Elo, there is an ‘irritating amount’ of what she does and people also think ‘all kinds of things’ about it. “On the street it is logical for people to tap each other. If someone stares longer, it makes me uncomfortable. Then I think: do you recognize me? I am constantly aware of that and I would like to get rid of that feeling.”
The Big Apple
And that’s why the enterprising countess heads to New York City! She will do an internship here for six months. Preparations are now in full swing, she reveals via Instagram.

“Enjoying the last few days in Amsterdam and The Hague,” she writes with the series of photos. We see, among other things, a cheerful photo of Elo posing with a large flag of the US of A during a surprise party, of which she was unaware in advance. She also reveals that she has had ‘many goodbye dates’ recently. She has also been cleaning up a lot and is sharing a short video from her student room. “So strange to see my room empty again,” says Elo.
