‘That makes me most proud of all.’
Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise has had a festive weekend! In addition to the birthday of her fiancé and ‘twin flame’, shaman Durek Verrett, she also had a special first to celebrate with daughter Maud Behn!
Quirky family
When Märtha Louise appears in the news, it is often because of her special spiritual matters. From courses in angelic communication to medallions that should be able to solve all kinds of ailments: the princess and her shaman do not turn their backs on it.
Daughter Maud Behn is just as idiosyncratic as her mother – but she has focused her creative mind on the arts, instead of spirituality. And with all those ambitions, King Harald’s eldest granddaughter was recently able to realize a big dream: her own exhibition! Via Instagram, the mother shares some beautiful photos of her daughter and various pieces from the exhibition.

Artist
The proud princess writes in the series of photos: “Your first solo exhibition, Experimentelle Spirer. I am soooo proud of you!”
She continues: “I’m proud of how ruthless you are in your art. How persistent. How many hours you spend creating. How it is your place of zen. And how you dare to explore in all directions. I am so proud of how you dare to follow your dreams and your heart. You are one of the most fearless people I know. And it can be seen in your art, and in every part of your being, that you dare to be yourself. And that makes me most proud of all.”
Maud has shared a cheerful load of photos from the opening at Galleri Soon via her own Instagram.

In the caption, the daughter of Märtha Louise and the late Ari Behn reveals that she was unable to keep it dry at the opening of her exhibition. “I’m just so touched and grateful for all the support! This is a dream come true,” she wrote.
Outspoken
Although Maud only turned twenty this year, she has already made a big impression on her fellow countrymen in recent years. For example, the then only sixteen-year-old daughter gave an impassioned speech at her father’s funeral, after which the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten stated: “It doesn’t get more powerful than this.” Since then, she has been committed to mental health awareness in all kinds of ways – both as a writer and of course as an artist.
This scoop is yet another particularly impressive milestone for the young daughter of Princess Märtha Louise. We understand very well that mothers are so proud of their ambitious child!
