Dennis Schouten is a Dutch reporter and started his own YouTube channel GeenCommentaar in 2014. This is where his interest arose in his studies in Media, Information and Communication and later his work at PowNed.
He obtained an MBO branch manager diploma at the ROC van Twente in Hengelo. He then started studying Media, Information and Communication at Saxion Hogescholen in Enschede, which he stopped in 2016 to work at PowNed. Youth
Dennis Schouten was born on July 20, 1995 in Glanerburg near Enschede. He has a sister named Celine and had a difficult childhood, filled with many therapy sessions, wrongful diagnoses, Child Protective Services and a divorce from his parents.
Around the age of 10, he saw a youth psychologist and was eventually diagnosed with PDD-NOS, an unspecified form of autism. Due to, among other things, his personality development, he was sent to special education. He ended up in a class with disabled children and he said he found this insulting. After years of using ADHD inhibitors, it turned out that the substances in them can inhibit the growth and development of young people. He thinks this has influenced his ability to experience happiness and he felt sad more and more often. This could be a reason for the euthanasia wish that he publicly shared in 2023. Dennis’ mother Ingrid is thought to have Munchausen by proxy syndrome, where a parent deliberately makes a child sick.
In 2017, Dennis started a relationship with Dutch model Lotte van der Zee, but unfortunately she suddenly died of cardiac arrest in 2019 at the age of 20.

From 2016 to 2020, Dennis worked as a reporter at PowNed, a broadcasting association known for its unfiltered programs in radio and TV. In 2020 he started RoddelPraat with Jan Roos, an online video series about gossip about Dutch showbiz.
Due to his rising fame, he made appearances in various TV programs such as The Worst Driver in the Netherlands (2019), Onrecht! (2019) and Expedition Robinson (2021).
