After the working visit to Georgia concluded last night, the visit to New York State started this morning. Máxima wore a summer dress from Natan at the kick-off.
The visit to Albany began with a reception with Governor Kathy Hochul of New York at the Governor’s Mansion. After the reception, a conversation took place with the governor and Dutch CEOs of companies active in Albany, an important tech hub of the United States.

Afternoon program
After lunch, the Royal Couple will visit NY Creates, a tech hub of New York and one of the most important places in the world for semiconductor research and development.
During the visit, the Royal Couple will receive a tour of the building, including the ‘clean room’ with an ASML machine. The King and Queen Máxima will also meet a Dutch business delegation in the field of semiconductors (semiconductors) and the integrated photonics and other companies and organizations active in New York. The Royal Couple takes part in the final part of the seminar. During this part, Governor Hochul will speak, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed by the Netherlands and the State of New York to further strengthen cooperation in the field of research, development and production of semiconductors. The King also gives a short speech.
Schuyler Mansion
In the Schuyler Mansion, the historic home from 1763 of Dutchmen Philip J. Schuyler and Catharine van Rensselaer, the Royal Couple will speak to young people about climate and a healthy living environment together with Governor Kathy Hochul of New York and other New York politicians.

Máxima’s dress made of yellow silk and sand-colored guipure bobbin lace comes from the studio of fashion house Natan.
The garment debuted in 2017 during a visit to Saba.
