Filming for season 3 has started!
Good news for fans of And Just Like That… Lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker has announced that filming for season three is in full swing! We still have to wait a while until we can see the new season, but until then we can hopefully enjoy a bit behind the scenes.
Ready, set, roll
We don’t know much about the new season of the series yet, and the protagonists haven’t revealed much about it yet. We do know one thing: filming for the third season has started. On Instagram, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) announced that they started the twentieth day of filming yesterday. She shared a photo of herself coming out of her trailer, fabulous as ever, and that they were filming on the Upper West Side. More detail? Unfortunately we will have to wait for that.

New season
Even before the last two episodes of the second season were released, the makers of the series announced that there would be a third season. Nice for the fans, but it also surprised them in a way. Up until then, it seemed like Carrie would get her happy ending with Aidan (John Corbett). Still, the creators came up with a twist – Aidan didn’t want to continue his relationship with Carrie until all his children were grown. We therefore suspect that season three will focus on how Carrie will bridge this period.
Exit
Will John Corbett appear in the third season? Unfortunately, not much is known about this yet. We do know that a number of familiar faces will not return. We will not see Karen Pittman again as Nya Wallace. The actress also stars in The Morning Show and that series requires so much of her time that she had no room in her schedule for the recording of And Just Like That.
In addition, Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez, was written out of the series. Opinions on why this was done differ. “Casting directors create black lists of actors who express their support for Gaza in the fight against Israel so that they can no longer get work,” Sara Ramirez wrote on his Instagram. However, the creators of And Just Like That… stated that there is no longer a role for Che.
By the way, there is room for new faces. Rosie O’Donnell announced that she has a role in the new season. Who exactly is her character? That remains to be seen.
