Maybe Santa Claus always does this to people, but the visit to Santa Village certainly brings out their inner child in Malou and Sarath. The two are completely involved in the role-play of the Christmas elves, who first have a Christmas elf test for them. Of course they will get a nice, matching elf hat for that. Although they do not always know the precise meaning of the Finnish words, they pass the test. They walk out of the ‘elf school’ with their diplomas with great enthusiasm. “Now with this diploma in my pocket, I’m starting to think about a career change. The world is your oyster now,” Sarath jokes. “You can do anything with this.” Although Malou would rather leave him alone. She likes the winter weather for a while, but not forever.

After Malou and Sarath have written a personal letter to Santa Claus in the Christmas village, it is time for the best meeting of the year. They’re visiting Santa Claus! When they sit with Santa, it seems like they really believe in Santa. They are well absorbed in their roles, which amazes the TV viewers. “We just sit there like two children, looking at it in breathless fashion,” says Sarath. “It feels so nice to see the real Santa Claus.
