The lovebirds were present for the third day in a row.
Yesterday the third day of the equestrian event Royal Ascot took place and the absolute top of horse racing was once again enjoyed. Logically, a lot of equestrian fans will come to this event and ultimate horse girl Zara Tindall cannot be missed. She hasn’t missed a day so far and even treated the cameras to a ‘cheeky’ moment between her and her husband Mike Tindall yesterday.
Royal Ascot
Heroes on horseback, partygoers placing bets, a whole bunch of hats, and of course a whole bunch of royals – that’s Royal Ascot in its own right. Every year Ascot Racecourse is the center of attention for equestrian fans and royalty watchers alike.
This year again the event guarantees several atmospheric snapshots and beautiful moments. On day one we saw how King Charles made a sweet gesture to his grieving grandniece Lady Gabriella Kingston by inviting her to the traditional Carriage Procession. And we also witnessed Carole Middleton’s Cinderella moment on day two.
Cheeky moment
On day three we once again spotted sports enthusiasts Zara and Mike Tindall among those present. Zara, who inherited her love for horses from her mother, is an Olympic medalist in equestrian sports. Her husband Mike is an ex-rugby player and once won the Rugby World Cup. You understand that the couple is completely in their element during a sporting event like this, and that was clearly visible. The lovebirds were captured on camera sharing a cheeky moment:
Princess Anne’s daughter and her husband were photographed – in what appears to be a photo for their personal archive – by a friend of the couple. Mike brutally placed a hand on the derriere of his wife, dressed in a beautiful Rebecca Vallance dress. Zara’s hand then snaked around her husband’s fingers to hold his hand. So sweet!
Spotted
In addition to this funny moment, there was of course plenty of regal glamour. King Charles was present again yesterday, of course with Camilla at his side. Also spotted living there were Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, the Earl of Snowdon (the late Princess Margaret’s son) and Princess Zahra Aga Khan. Of course, all in flowy, Ascot-worthy outfits!

But guess what? Not only British royals attend the equestrian event. The Greek princess Marie Chantal also appeared with company on day three of Royal Ascot.

The event lasts five days in total. We have already spotted quite a few royals at the mecca of equestrian sports, but we are curious to see who will show up in the last two days. This is usually only announced just before the supreme moment. In any case, we hope for many more atmospheric summer snaps in full Ascot regalia!
