He is on the mend. Frank Zander (81) had to be hospitalized in December because he was diagnosed with high levels of inflammation. After his release, complications arose – the singer had to have head surgery. The reason: Brain fluid had built up. The procedure has now been carried out. The son of the German pop musician now reveals what it’s like Franks Health stands.
The operation is said to have taken place on Monday, as Marcus Zander explained. His father is recovering well from the whole thing, as he told the German Press Agency: “He’s fine, he’s in his room. The operation went well.” Frank I hardly have any headaches and should drink lots of water. The 81-year-old can look forward to the visit of his offspring, as Marcus revealed: “[…] Then we toast together with a sip of beer and discuss how the further follow-up treatment should proceed.”
Frank himself had been extremely optimistic before the procedure. Before he had to go under the knife in the Berlin Charité, he seemed extremely positive. “But I know it will all be fine and I’m looking forward to a freshly tapped beer after the operation,” said Frank relaxed.
