It was all sparkle at that wedding in Austria!
Glitter and glamour at the wedding of Count Caspar Matuschka and Countess Leonie von Waldburg-Zeil-Hohenems! Last weekend the happy couple tied the knot. King Willem-Alexander, godfather of bride Leonie, was present together with Queen Máxima and Princess Amalia at this festive occasion in the picturesque Hohenems in Austria.
Goddaughter
The Oranges arrived in style at the wedding to congratulate goddaughter Leonie von Waldenburg-Zeil-Hohenems herself. On 2 February 2002, she was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. It was therefore not surprising that the king made an appearance at her wedding this time.
The blushing bride is a great-great-great-granddaughter of Austrian Empress Elisabeth, better known as Sisi. Like every royal wedding, it was a grand affair and beautiful photos of the radiant royals soon appeared on social media.

Queen Máxima wore a bright pink dress by Natan, a well-known brand for Her Majesty. She styled this striking dress with golden mules by Gianvito Rossi and a golden Gold Evil Eye clutch by Begum Khan. It has not escaped our notice that she has worn this beautiful dress before. In 2007, she made her debut in this strapless dress during the celebration of Willem-Alexander’s fortieth birthday. On her right hand, Máx wears a ring with a gigantic cabochon-cut emerald. The necklace and bracelet by Cartier completed this seventeen-piece look beautifully.

Deep neckline
Amalia also looked enchanting at the festive occasion. In addition to the royal couple, our princess appeared in a green dress by Roland Mouret, writes fashion expert Josine Droogendijk of the website Modekoningin Máxima. This chic dress has a deep-cut neckline and matching green cape. Amalia completed the outfit with a glittering clutch and golden heels. A daring, but very mature look for our crown princess!
Despite the fact that the dresses of Máxima and Amalia are very different from each other, we see that gold and green are the matching colors in their accessories. In this way, mother and daughter have subtly coordinated their outfits. Nice!
