Wow: Princess Charlene shines in a glittery suit during Bal de la Rose

The princess returned after eight years to the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo.

Last weekend it was time again for one of the biggest spectacles in Monaco: Bal de la Rose. And although many royals attended the event, all eyes were on Princess Charlene – who was back at the event after eight years.

Presence

Together with her husband, Prince Albert of Monaco, Charlene opened the major annual event that is one of the highlights of the royals’ social calendar. The princess was present for the first time in eight years. And although her presence in itself was a spectacle, she attracted all the attention through her fabulous look.

This year’s glittering theme ‘disco’ was chosen by none other than Princess Caroline of Hannover. Princess Charlene knew what to do with the dress code and wore a sparkling jumpsuit from Elie Saab. The jumpsuit consists entirely of glitter sequins, is fitted and has a deep décolleté. She styled her outfit with a clutch, also from Elie Saab.

New coupe

However, the sparkling outfit was not the only striking thing about the princess, because her new hairstyle also stood out. The royal has changed her hairdo several times in recent months. For example, she exchanged her usual platinum blonde pixie for a mini bob with bangs, also known as the ‘Bixie-Bob’.

A new hairstyle also includes a good make-up look. She wore a shimmering smokey eye and dramatic winged eyeliner. And whether Charlene adhered to the dress code!

Even more glitter and glamour

The jumpsuit is very similar to the unforgettable Goldfinger dress by Jenny Packham, which Princess Kate wore to the James Bond No Time To Die film premiere in September 2021.

But that’s not all, Charlotte Casiraghi – the eldest daughter of Princess Caroline – appeared in CHANEL, Princess Alexandra of Hannover – the youngest daughter of Princess Caroline – in a black edgy dress styled with a Celine bag and Beatrice Borromeo – wife of Pierre Casiraghi, youngest son of Princess Caroline – in a beautiful couture dress by Dior. Royals and glitter, it remains a spectacle!
