She talks about happiness. Zara Tindall (42) is part of the British royal family as the daughter of Princess Anne (73), the sister of King Charles (75). She and her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth (✝96) are said to have had a very good relationship with each other. But the equestrian is one of the few who does not have a royal title – her parents decided to omit the royal title at birth. Now reveals Zarathat she’s pretty happy about it.
Charles’ niece is well aware of the advantages and disadvantages that a royal title would entail. “From my point of view, I was of course very lucky that my mother didn’t give us any titles and I really have to praise her for that,” she says on ex-rugby player Rob Burrows’ “MND Matters” podcast. So had Zara and her brother Peter were lucky enough to grow up with their parents in “their way”. Hopefully they have adopted their “great work ethic,” she says.
But that wasn’t the only thing Princess Anne who attracted attention to herself and her children: At the birth of Zara The daughter of the late Queen did not shy away from breaking tradition. Normally, members of the royal family give birth to their offspring in one of the royal residences. However, the 73-year-old was the first to decide to stay in hospital.
