Christina Block is worried about her kids. The steakhouse heiress and her ex Stephan Hensel have been fighting over custody of their offspring for years. At the beginning of the year, the family was in suspense with the kidnapping drama in Germany. Klara and Theodor are currently living with their father and receiving psychological care. Now a court in Denmark is deciding what to do with it Christina’s children should continue.
Negotiations are being held again about the custody and residence rights of the family members. The aim is to investigate whether the kidnapping had a negative impact on the kids’ psyche. The possible consequences of the kidnapping for Christina are hard. “If it is in the best interests of the child, a contact or contact ban can be issued – at least temporarily,” reports family law expert Marko Oldenburger to Bild. A verdict is expected in spring 2025.
There had already been conflicts between the decisions of the German and Danish authorities. The Hanseatic Higher Regional Court ruled in 2021 that the children should come back to Germany, but the Danes objected. Instead, the woman from Hamburg was only allowed one supervised meeting every 14 days.
